A reference architecture for social robots

چکیده

Social robotics poses tough challenges to software designers who are required take care of difficult architectural drivers like acceptability, trust robots as well guarantee that establish a personalized interaction with their users. Moreover, in this context recurrent design issues such ensuring interoperability, improving reusability and customizability components also arise. Designing implementing social robotic architectures is time-intensive activity requiring multi-disciplinary expertise: makes it rapidly develop, customize, personalize solutions. These may be mitigated at time by choosing certain styles, specific patterns using particular technologies. Leveraging on our experience the MARIO project, paper we propose series principles benefit from. lay foundations for reference architecture robots. The goal work twofold: (i) Establishing whose unambiguously characterized an ontology thus allowing easily reuse them order implement robots; (ii) Introducing standardized (mostly relying ontologies semantic technologies) enhance improve explainability, favor rapid prototyping.
